A day at the park...

We had such a blast today at the park! This was the first time Austin actually got to go to the park and play on his own. Of course I have taken him before, but all he did was try and eat the wood chips...lol! This time he enjoyed going down the slide all by himself, climbing, and most of all watching all the other kids do cool tricks. I took my camera with me today to mark this monumental moment and of course I went over board and took over 350 photos...I know I am a mamarazzi what can I say:)) Anyhow, I tried to narrow it down and well of course that didn't work either. So I hope you enjoy our first trip to the park...Yippee!

He went down the slide all by himself...no fear this child!

Hey how do I get up there! He watching the older kids with amazement:)))

What a great way to end your day with a smile like this...

Austin had so much fun he didn't want to leave. We ended our play with a tantrum to the car...poor guy...he'll learn soon that there will be many more days at the park!!

Fantastic pictures, my friend! Good work. It just gets more and more fun as they get outdoors and explore the world around them.

I know you're in the PNW. My brother just moved from Puyallup to Ft. Knox, KY. He has been in the army for about 13 years as a pilot (Apache first, now the C12 airplane). I bet you were "neighbors" in the loosest sense of the term because Mt. Ranier was in his "backyard", too. :) They loved it there but with two young boys (very close in age to mine), it was just a huge priority to get closer to home (I'm in Indiana). So he got out of active army and into active Reserves (AGR?). All those army acronyms...I only understand 50% of what comes out of my brother's mouth sometimes. He's been to Korea twice and Iraq for a year. I'm just glad that our boys can grow up together, actually seeing each other and knowing each other.

Anyway, I'm rambling now. Hope you have a great Friday! Keep snapping away, mammarazi...I love to see all your pics!
